A: We begin by discussing your project goals and the technical requirements for the specific component. Next, we assess the resources needed and determine the best manufacturing method based on your needs. Once we agree on a project quote, we collaborate with you to prototype the part using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and 3D FDM printing. After finalizing the design configuration based on your feedback, we manufacture the part in your preferred material.
For example, if you need a custom-made, out-of-production gear, we will 3D scan the gear, design it in CAD, and 3D print a plastic prototype for your review. You’ll provide feedback and a go/no-go decision. Once the dimensions are finalized and any adjustments are incorporated, we can arrange production of the final part using methods such as sand casting, 3D metal printing, or CNC machining, depending on your preferences.
